Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Software Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:
• Envision, design, and build the Software infrastructure that keeps the solutions running (.NET)
• Challenge ideas, identify problems and create efficient solutions.
• Develop flexible, maintainable, and scalable application components.
• Collaborate with development peers and lead the way staying up to date with tools and technology trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Excellent knowledge of the .NET Core framework and a good understanding of dependency injection.
• Proficiency in the basics of SQL language and REST service development.
• Good understanding of practices such as TDD, Code Review, Pair Programming, Clean Code, Refactoring, and the use of Design Patterns.
• Experience with standard .NET development tools (Visual Studio, Git and its workflows) and a continuous integration, configuration, and deployment tool (Jenkins/CloudBees, Ansible, Helm Charts, etc.).

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in project management or team management
• Fluent in French and English
