Essential Responsibilities
  • Support business plan development and execution of partnership programs and transactions in multiple different GE HealthCare business units to advance GE HealthCare’s strategy and monetization.

  • Business plan development will include growth strategy, technology, IP, market, partner and financial evaluation, business/deal model development. GEHC’s and external Intellectual Property (IP) will range from technology patents, know-how, software, copyrights and technology transfer supports, towards GE’s strategic intent.

  • Deal execution will range from partner identification, negotiation, deal closing and managing post deal obligations for further growth.

  • Work with GE HealthCare teams to develop plan, manage communications and support alignment with key internal stakeholders to support strategy development, program and deal closing.

Qualifications/ Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, natural science or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supporting commercial deals, preferably licensing, sourcing, sales or partnership programs.

  • Healthcare domain experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong experience in executing commercial deals, preferably licensing, sourcing, sales or partnership programs.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Advanced degree (M.S., M.A., MBA, PhD) in engineering, physical, software, marketing, finance, legal or healthcare sciences.

  • Validated knowledge of building business cases for patent/technology driven programs, including market sizing, valuation and customer identification.

  • Demonstrated experience in technology, intellectual property analysis and landscape assessment.

  • Experience with IP technology transfer, licensing, sale and/or for development across multiple companies.

  • Able to effectively work with all levels of internal and external customers & partners.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
