Senior Associate, Brand Media

This position is responsible for paid mass media programs,not earned media or public relations.
● Incorporate relevant use ofmedia research, measurement and analytics tools,techniques and technologies, including test market design
Evaluate research, develop points of view and inform paid media strategies and tactics to address full-funnel objectives.
Track, benchmark and report on key media and brand performance metrics o Leverage past experience with cross-media measurement, including attribution and marketing mix models
Manage quarterly media reviews and post campaign analysis reports
● Monitor, analyze and report on thecompetitive mediaexpenditure environment using large datasets and analytics tools
Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor products, market shifts, and other factors to understand the competitive landscape
● Support otherenterprise responsibilitiesincluding brand governance, innovation, and budget management
Collaborate with Brand team partners to help implement a Brand governance system that monitors monitors brand safety and suitability compliance
Stay current with emerging technology and data-privacy trends in the media landscape to identify opportunity areas and future-proof Capital One’s mass media strategy o Enterprise calendar, flowchart, and budget tracker reviews
Influence partners within brand and across the enterprise on media strategy via succinct, data driven presentations
● Build strong agency partner and media vendor relationships

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
● At least 3 years of professional experience at an advertising agency, marketing analytics vendor/consultancy, research firm, or corporate environment in a marketing, advertising, or analytics role
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience writing briefs, working with marketing strategy and agency partners, and managing integrated media programs and budgets
● Experience managing Social Media and YouTube campaigns, including governance
● General understanding of media principles, planning and buying functions, and media software and research tools (MRI, Nielsen, comScore, Kantar)
● General understanding of measurement tools, including delivery and ad quality (Nielsen One, attention tracking, alternative currencies, DoubleVerify), audience insights (LiveRamp, Transunion, DMPs), and data integration (clean rooms, Snowflake, etc.)
● Aptitude and passion for analytics to inform strategy and (evidence-based) decision-making, including hypothesis formulation, data exploration, visualization, analysis, insight generation, and storytelling
● Strong quantitative and analytics skills; I.e. experience with large and/or complex datasets, proficiency structuring data in spreadsheets with pivot tables and advanced functions, proficiency with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau)
● Experience guiding measurement projects and interpreting results to understand performance and optimize strategy and investment, including (brand + business) incrementality studies, attribution, econometric modeling, etc.)
● Knowledge of the latest technology trends in the media ecosystem, including martech, adtech, and programmatic
● Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently based on business critical needs
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $99,500 - $113,600 for Sr. Associate, BrandThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.. Eligibility varies based on full or part-time status, exempt or non-exempt status, and management level.
