Job responsibility

• As a virtualization expert, providing strong support for the large-scale deployment of SDN product.
• Analyze and solve network related bottlenecks in virtualization systems.
• Track and research the technological evolution of Kernel, KVM, Libvirt, Qemu and Container in the network virtualization.
• Design the solution and implement the system for integrating SDN with IAAS platform or PAAS platform.
• Responsible for virtualization software deployment for local CPU and OS platforms, e.g., ARM, Phytium, Hygon.
• To experiment with open-source technologies and to incorporate features of them.
• Create and develop any necessary capabilities that will support solution designs and system evolution.
• Review code from peers and provide feedback.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs.
• Interact extensively with global team and regional team.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor´s degree in a technical field (e.g., CS, EE, Math) or equivalent experience required.
• 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing and virtualization product design and development.
• Deep understanding of virtualization technology, cloud architectures, and implementation technologies.
• Experience in X86 and ARM virtualization.
• Mastering KVM, Qemu, Libvirt, vhost-user spec.
• Have knowledge of new technologies such as Software-Defined Networking or Network Functions Virtualization.
• In-depth experience of Linux environment (RedHat/Suse/Debian/Ubuntu/BSD).
• Solid programming skills in Linux C/C++.
• Master at least one script development language, e.g., python, shell.
• Experience with software development process including source control, bug tracking, testing, and design documentation.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
• Fluent English spoken and written.

Skills to be a plus:

• Experience of configuring and managing OpenStack and K8S.
• Experience in IP networking (IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP) is a huge plus.
• Experience with Devops CI/CD, and Jenkins
