Your key responsibilities
- Increase pipeline of EY opportunities through collaboration with the Alliance partner and positioning EY solutions to the field and via field activation vehicles
- Increase win rates and reduce delivery risk through collaboration with the Alliance partner to drive technical excellence
- Understand Alliance partner’s roadmaps and represent them back into EY and foster collaboration between the Alliance partner’s Engineering teams and EY stakeholders
- Increase Global sales and revenue by leveraging EY’s relationship with the Alliance partner to drive sales & delivery across joint solutions, campaigns and active engagement in the field with joint clients

- The Alliance Solution Lead collaborates with Client Technology (CT), EY Sector, EY Service Line and Solution Leaders to understand their solution priorities and alignment on where the Alliance partner’s products can power the EY solutions.
- Evaluate solution readiness to engage with the Alliance partner.
- Collaborate with sector and SL solution owners to create a business plan and gain their support in co-investing in the development and sales efforts associated with alliance solutions
- Provide strategic guidance to solution teams on appropriate maturity of the Alliance partner’s products, roadmaps and fit for purpose technical approaches
- Collaborates with go to market leaders and the Alliance partner to launch solutions in the market– both into EY and into the Alliance partner’s organizations, globally as needed
- Collaborate with Global Alliance leader on solution development strategy and priorities
- Develop relationships and closely manage alignment with the Alliance partner to secure financial and in-kind support for the development of EY solutions powered by the Alliance partner’s technologies
- Oversee the intersection points between EY solution teams and the Alliance partner teams throughout the solution development life cycle.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow GDS to enable Alliance Solution Development.
- Actively champion EY solutions powered by the Alliance partner into the market representing EY to the Alliance Partner within their events, client discussions and EY discussions
- Facilitate EY engagement with the Alliance partner’s Engineering:
- Help to better understand technical direction, product roadmaps and release plans plus where to jointly invest in ‘client 0’ opportunities including facilitating periodic Executive briefings
- Facilitate product feedback from EY to the Alliance partner
- Coordinate and lead the Alliance partner Program within EY
- Engage with innovation teams across EY to best leverage the Alliance partner’s products for mutual benefit including taking advantage of teams to drive applied innovation powered by the Alliance partner.
- Manage an executive steering committee including the Global Alliance Leader, GTM Leaders, CT and other key executives to review, evaluate and prioritize the solutions to which to invest.
- Manage team that may support early stage opportunities when solutions are launched to provide solution level support to EY account teams and alliance partner sales teams to enable the sales process.
- Collaborate with Global Alliance Lead throughout, to align Solution governance and results to overall relationship governance
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- EY’s global strategic alliances are the most complex relationships due to breadth of relationship across multiple competencies, sectors and geographies. They are also anticipated to result in a higher degree of revenue for EY and require a higher degree of collaboration. The Alliance Solution Lead will be expected to influence senior level executives across both EY and the alliance company to drive the objectives of the relationship, including securing alliance company support (financial and in-kind resourcing) for the build out of joint solutions
- Must manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders often with competing priorities
- Ability to balance enablement and development activities
- Evaluate activities, efforts, requests against agreed strategy and plan as well as EY policies
- Assess and prioritize financial requests against limited/set budgets
Skills and attributes for success
- Understand technology and business benefits of relevant Alliance partner’s products and solutions
- Understand technical underpinning and challenges of the Alliance partner’s products
- Have experience in solution development, Product Management or product marketing for technology or professional services company
- Have experience defining solution development and management lifecycle and enablers
- Have demonstrated success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
- Have strong networking and influence management skills resulting in driving actions to outcomes and delivering results actions across organizational boundaries
- Be a highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and proven track record delivering alliance sales and revenues
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Manage solution co-innovation team, inclusive of PMO, solution architects and brand manager
- Manage GDS Innovation Factory development efforts.
- Direct activities of those in other practice areas or functions/solution leaders
- Will also influence and provide guidance to resources in Service Lines, Growth & Innovation, and Sectors
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university
Experience:
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in consulting services, technology development or consultative business/solution development with minimum five (5) years of those engaging with or leading strategic alliances

- The role may require regular travel (overseas and domestic), up to 50% of the time, as well as operate over multiple time zones.
