What You’ll Own
You will own the end-to-end program management lifecycle for strategic tax compliance initiatives including planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment ensuring Amazon meets regulatory obligations systematically while enabling rapid global expansion. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, tax, and finance partners to launch scalable, self-serve tax systems for real-time withholding, automated reporting, and remittance.
You’ll also help integrate next-gen AI/ML capabilities into our compliance stack simplifying reconciliations, automating manual workflows, and enabling proactive risk identification and resolution.Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from defining business and technical requirements to roadmap planning, resource allocation, and execution.Partner with product, engineering, tax, finance, and operations stakeholders to define and refine program goals, ensuring alignment and clarity at every stage.
Lead hands-on execution, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication to deliver programs on time and with high quality.

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
