Key job responsibilities
- Work in an agile environment to design and deliver high quality software
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of key features- Manage medium to large sized technical projectsA day in the life- Ship and review C++, ReactNative, Java, Swift or Objective C code for Library features on Kindle Ereader, Kindle for Android, Kindle iOS or Fire OS
- Root cause issues and propose solutions

- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Development experience writing application for the iOS or Android mobile platform
- A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
