The BDR will execute high velocity outreach to potential merchants in Japan, leveraging strategies and tactics such as cold calling, social selling, digital communication, and networking with the aim to connect potential, qualified merchants to our sellers to convert sales.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Complete routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Utilize customer contact information to reach out via phone, social, and email.
• Discover customer needs and explain PayPal’s value proposition.
• -Gain customer commitment to take the next step in the sales process.
• Suggest changes to existing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• No relevant work experience required

Preferred Qualification:

• Full working proficiency and fluency in Japanese and English will be required
• Strong passion for Sales with a dynamic hunter personality to reach decision makers
• A high degree of comfort with “cold calls” and skilled at navigating through various barriers to engage with key decision makers
• Attend industry events, networking sessions, and conferences to expand connections and generate new business opportunities
• Up to 2 years of sales, marketing or business development experience. SaaS sales experience is a plus.
• Proven track record in outperforming both individual and team goals and KPI
• Previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns is a plus
• Motivation and energy to drive early-stage revenue opportunities
• Desire to learn enterprise sales methodologies and strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively, both independently and as part of a team, in a high energy, ever-changing, dynamic sales environment
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator and GONG is a plus
