Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience designing mechanical components such as plastic or metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes
- 1 years of industrial work experience in metal and metal finishes (e.g., Anodizing, PVD, electroplating, etc.).
- 1 year of experience in material development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field.
- Experience in fundamental failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure.
- Ability to take an idea from concept and see it through to production.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work separately and be proactive.
