Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Senior Manager Global Supply Chain Channel Development is responsible for coordinating and driving the global channel development roadmap with focus on alignment with Sales and markets on day-to-day operations.

As such this role will ensure the alignment of the global SC channel development in the relevant forums and partner with the markets on the implementation of new solutions and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the definition and prioritization of Supply Chain Channel Development initiatives and connect to the overall Channel Development roadmap for E-Com
  • Drive the partnerships with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Markets, Sales, IT to enable alignment on day-to-operations and facilitate consistency between expectations and capabilities through proactive communication
  • Support the Director SCM Channel Development – E-Com in ensuring initiatives are delivered as per timelines
  • Support SCI in definition of Channel Supply Chain specific metrics around Availability, Service, Inventory and Costs, specifically for E-Com Channel
  • Drive system and process enhancements that help improve the Channel Supply Chain related KPIs
  • Prepare budget targets per market for E-Com Supply Chain Performance for the relevant KPIs with a clear rationale and get them approved
  • Drive transparency and manage dependencies across key initiatives
  • Contribute significantly to continuous improvement of Supply Chain Channel capabilities
  • Monitor performance of Supply Chain Channel initiatives against targets - identify deviations and initiate necessary changes
  • Oversee and resolve any escalations to ensure Supply Chain Channel targets and KPIs are achieved
  • Act as trusted contributor and bridge communication between the Supply Chain market teams and the global Channel Development teams to drive implementation of solutions efficiently
  • Maintain toolkit and best practices for best-in-class E-Com Supply Chain Performance

  • Proven collaboration, communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Ability to mediate, convince and build consensus between cross-functional stakeholders with different objectives
  • Competency to coach, guide and manage the cross-functional project team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
  • Business- and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong experience to manage a wide range of complex assignments and/or projects on a global level, with focus on Supply Chain Management, retail and E-Com
  • Broad and deep knowledge about Omnichannel, Wholesale, E-Com and Retail fulfilment
  • Self-initiated and pro-active mind-set


Requisite Education and Qualifications

  • Business or comparable university degree, MBA is a plus
  • Over 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in omnichannel, fulfilment and E-Com/Retail related functions, with
    • proven professional experience in the Direct-to-Consumer ecosystem environment
    • proven cross functional project management record
    • 6-Sigma or PMI certification is a plus
    • experience in agile methodology is a plus
  • Prior work in business functions (i.e. Sales, Retail, E-Com) is a plus
