Import/Export Audits and Trade Compliance: Conduct regular audits of import and export transactions. Ensure compliance with EU and UK customs regulations. Identify errors and discrepancies, collaborate with brokers and cross-functional teams to resolve them, and implement corrective actions.
External Audit Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits conducted by other regulatory bodies. Provide accurate and timely data and documentation required for audit purposes.
Reporting and Decision Support: Prepare detailed audit reports that provide actionable insights for business decisions, especially for accurate year-end planning. Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Process Automation and Improvement : Identify areas for automation and improvement in the audit process to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with customs brokers, supply chain, trade compliance, and other cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and streamline processes. Act as a subject matter expert on Trade Compliance regulations and share insights with the broader team
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in any stream with a focus on international trade, customs, or regulatory compliance.
3-5 years of experience in trade compliance and customs regulations.
Strong knowledge of EU and UK customs regulations is preferable
