As the Clinical Application Specialist (CAS), you will deliver technical and clinical expertise within the Patient Care Solution portfolio by providing excellent education and training support to clinical end-users. The CAS is a clinical expert supporting the pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support), as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives for their geography. Responsibilities may also include ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support.This role will support our operations across the country, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery. While the position involves national responsibilities, it will be primarily based in Ontario (ON).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the Peri-Operative care areas
- Support clinical end user adoption to GEHC Patient Care products including : Anesthesia & Respiratory Care, Centricity High Acuity clinical information system & Peri-Operative patient monitoring solutions.
- Advance new product (NPI) features & techniques; partner with customers in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation (ARC) (MS) and (CHAA Digital)
- Coordinate, schedule, and execute clinical system training, monitor, and report on training outcomes. Training may be conducted onsite at customer facility and / or virtually.
- Work in close collaboration with Product Marketing Team, identify customer satisfaction opportunities, issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.
- Develop meaningful relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
- Participate in install base upgrade programs, proactive strategic customer touchpoints.
- Drive sales process by conducting clinical product demonstrations and onsite evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent with 5+ years of Anesthesia technical/clinical industry experience
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (CSRT, Provincial body) with Anesthesia Assistant as a Preferred qualifications.
- Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience.
- Willingness to travel extensively 60+% within a region (including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.).
- Willingness to submit to a check of your driving record (given that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE HealthCare owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business).
