Global Managed Service – Identity and access Management – Staff

As a Entra Identity Operations Support Analyst, you will contribute to the operational excellence of the identity infrastructure using Microsoft Entra. Your role will focus on supporting the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IAM services to ensure secure and efficient access to organizational resources.

Key Requirements / Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Entra identity services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage incident response and resolution related to IAM issues, minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SSO & MFA related issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor the performance of SSO & MFA systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding SSO processes
  • Document SSO configurations, procedures, and changes
  • Assist in the daily operational tasks of managing Microsoft Entra identity services to maintain system health and performance.
  • Support the resolution of IAM-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Help monitor identity systems for performance issues, potential breaches, and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of operational documentation, including runbooks, procedures, and service records.
  • Participate in the execution of routine access reviews, certifications, and audits.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to align IAM operational activities with security policies and compliance standards.
  • Learn and apply best practices for IAM operations, with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Engage in the implementation of basic automation and scripting tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide input on operational reports and metrics for IAM services
  • Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis and suggest solutions to avoid errors
  • Work involves day to day health check, incident support (as per defined scope and levels), e-mail support, tool upgrades and monitoring of systems, reporting the status and working with development and QA teams to help them fix the issues.


Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of identity and access management concepts and Microsoft Entra services.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills in IAM operations and cloud security.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Extensive experience in IAM operations, with a strong focus on Microsoft Entra and related Microsoft identity solutions.
  • Knowledge of federation protocols – SAML, OAuth & OpenID
  • Understanding of IAM concepts, cloud security, and operational best practices.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Work Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Willingness to be on call support engineer and work occasional overtime as required
  • Willingness to work in shifts as required
