What you’ll do

As a Senior Developer (f/m/d) for Environment, Health and Safety, you contribute to all phases of application development. You will:

• Be Responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complete and complex end-to-end software parts
• Actively contribute to the whole product lifecycle
• Work in an agile development environment which requires to be self-driven, to take decisions independently as well as to be very flexible
• Identify problems within the current architecture, create a plan and lead the delivery of the technical changes needed to solve them
• Ensure quality of our code with code reviews and automated testing tools
• Mentor junior developers and help them improve their technical skills
• Align with other teams and agree on interfaces for the integration and gain knowledge about other technologies

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related discipline
• Minimum +5 years of software development experience (potentially open to less for the right candidate)
• Excellent programming knowledge in an object-oriented language, e.g. ABAP Objects, C++, Java, and another (script) language
• Excellent knowledge in software design pattern and software engineering
• Constructive and open style of communication
• Ability to easily acquire deep understanding in new areas and technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German
