What you'll doAs a Senior Developer/ Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d), you will:

• Join a diverse team doing agile software development on a global scale. Our teams are empowered and self-organizing
• Share responsibility for automating service and infrastructure updates, to apply and deploy frequent changes in Kubernetes and underlying infrastructure in a validated and secure fashion
• Have a direct impact on our customers’ experience by minimizing service unavailability
• Drive and participate in the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution
• Help improve the availability, scalability, and reliability of our services on various cloud providers
• Possibly have to respond to incidents and their root cause analysis

What you bring

• Very good degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics or related areas
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with large, complex activities, using creativity and expertise, and applying specialist professional knowledge to gather requirements, design and deliver high quality solutions
• Strong experience in Kubernetes and containerization
• Solid software development experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
• Strong experience with cloud-native software development and operation using technologies like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Prometheus and Grafana
• Ability to work in and collaborate with a team, act with initiative and extraordinary soft skills
• Ability to lead as well as mentor others and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency
• Very good language skills in English
