Key job responsibilitiesYou will be responsible for leading a team of Software/ML engineers in design, development, test, and deployment of ML platform. A successful candidate will have an established background in machine learning algorithms and developing ML services, excellent project leadership skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.A day in the life
* Responsible for the over-all systems development life cycle Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments; Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment
* Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team
* Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best ML algorithm design and approach
* Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
