HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team, you will:

  • Create and review requirements for functional, design and interface specifications based on system and HW specifications
  • Design and implement software utilizing the latest software best practices
  • Work with scope definition and coverage requirements for cross-component development tests
  • Participate in FOT and SyVe test plans reviews and actively cooperating with test teams
  • Take part in solving complex engineering problems in radio technologies area
  • Product integration, FOA and L4 support
  • Sett up frameworks and R&D processes and practices
  • Look for automation opportunities and driving implementation
  • Mentor and support team members

Technologies we work with:

  • C++11/14/17/20
  • GCC, Clang
  • Linux
  • Testing frameworks
  • JIRA
  • Version control and code review systems (Git/Gerrit)
  • Continuous Integration systems
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You should have:

  • Outstanding experience in C++ (5+ years of experience)
  • Very good Knowledge of 3GPP LTE / 5G specification
  • Knowledge of Nokia AirScale (ASIB/ABIO) products
  • Nokia AirScale User Plane (LTE or 5G) software architecture knowledge
  • Experience in algorithm optimization, code profiling and in analysis of memory usage violations
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Boost and STL C++ Libraries
  • Python/Bash knowledge
  • Experience with CFAM process
  • Knowledge of unit and component test frameworks
  • Teamwork skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Very good communication skills in English - both verbal and written

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Understanding of overall AirScale / VRAN products software architecture and components responsibilities
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
