Description
Conduct detailed audits of financial statements in accordance with all applicable regulations, laws and accounting standards (India GAAP)Prepare detailed and high quality audit reports to communicate findings, conclusions and recommendations to managementPerform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to drive audit plansChampion compliance with Apples internal policies and external financial, legal, regulatory and social obligationsPartner with relevant internal and external teams as and when required
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA/ACCA/ACA)
- Minimum of 3years of experience in a "Big 4" accounting/consulting environment and/or experience in conducting financial and Compliance audits in a multi-national company
- Experience with accounting software and data analysis tools
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Finance or other quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant internal controls and financial audit experience
- Solid understanding and knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles and relevant regulation (e.g. Company Act, 2013, CARO, etc)
- Excellent analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills
- Have a passion for constant improvement and innovation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of multi-functional teams with a solid ability to manage parallel activities and prioritise tasks
- Exhibit sound business acumen and flexibility to handle multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change
- A self-starter with the ability to adapt, thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic, ambiguous environment
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to connect and work multi-functionally with people throughout the company and to convey sophisticated concepts to all levels. High level of proficiency in English
- Display unwavering attention to detail and a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to clearly document findings and recommend practical solutions
- Ability to travel occasionally - primarily within India, but internationally if required
