What you`ll do:
- Design, implement and operate landscapes comprising of systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAP’s business processes and improve work efficiency, to implement and comply with SAP policies namely SAP IT Asset Management Policy and SAP Security Policy Framework.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation strategies, enhance infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
- Engage in timely manner with management to mitigate compliance gaps, and to propose process and cost optimizations techniques. Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure a smooth and efficient release process
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working as a team and interchangeably on the below topics depending on the requirements and prioritization
- DevOps Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline the build, deployment, and configuration management processes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate the provisioning and scaling of infrastructure resources.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated testing, packaging, and deployment of applications.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Optimize infrastructure for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations and provide rapid response to incidents, ensuring the availability and reliability of systems.
What you bring:
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3-10 years of work experience in DevOps Engineer or a similar role
• Proficiency with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting and coding skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security best practices and network protocols.
