As automation team lead, you will be responsible for all aspects of automation usage in the R&D department, and be a key part in our development processes, to ensure high quality in our delivered products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

What you’ll be doing at Qualcomm

• You will lead the automation team, including major part of hands-on code developing.

• You will develop, execute, and maintain automatic regression tests that will support the R&D’s new developed features, based on current existing (and future planned) infrastructures.

• You will bring up, design, and set up new test automation solutions and tools.

• You will be a professional focal point for automation issues, working with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• You will give release’s quality status, based on analyzed automation regression reports to relevant R&D teams and relevant managers.

• You will Assist QA Manager to push all QA initiatives.

What you’ll bring to Qualcomm

• At least 3 years as hands-on automation manager / Team leader.

• B.Sc./B.A. degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Excellent technical skills and coding experience in OO languages (Java / Python), ability to write stable, maintainable, and reusable code

• Proven and strong background in different types of test automation frameworks (Pytest, TestNG, Junit, playwright etc..)

• Strong background with Backend, API and Web systems testing.

• Deep understanding of test processes and methodologies.

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL and mongo DB

Nice to Have / Advantage

• Experience in the cellular industry

• Experience with stress / load testing

• Experience with DevOps / CI tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Github)

• Proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.

• Experience in automation development of a large-scale backend and frontend systems

• Ability to understand complex systems from multiple perspectives, including high-level and low-level technical architecture.
