As a Senior Advanced UX Designer, you will:
· Lead the design process from discovery through implementation, ensuring a user-centered approach at every stage.
· Partner with UX researchers to uncover user insights and advocate for customer needs in design decisions.
· Work closely with developers to bring designs to life while maintaining usability and consistency.
· Map out user journeys with flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes to improve product usability.
· Design, implement, and validate user interfaces for scalable applications across desktop and mobile platforms.
· Document functional requirements to communicate design rationale and guide development.
· Champion and evolve the Forge UX Design System to create a consistent, accessible and recognizable Honeywell experience.
· Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs and measure UX metrics
· Mentor and lead designers and researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
What You Bring:
· A minimum of 8 years of experience as a UX practitioner, including at least 2 years of leading UX projects
· A strong portfolio that showcases your design process, problem-solving skills, and leadership in UX projects.
· Hands-on experience in usability testing and user research to inform design decisions.
· Expertise in multi-platform design, including native mobile, responsive web, and desktop applications.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
· Proven ability to lead UX projects in an Agile software development environment.
· Having domain knowledge in building management solutions is an added advantage
· A strategic mindset that can identify opportunities for innovation across product ecosystems.
· Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating scalable and intuitive UX solutions in the IoT space.
Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications):
· A degree in HCI, UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
· Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe product Suites.
· Experience in SaaS and B2B environments, with a deep understanding of enterprise software challenges.
· A passion for creating high-quality, intuitive user interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
· A track record of collaborative teamwork and influencing outcomes through well-informed design strategies.
Additional Information
The CAD Designer II position is responsible for developing concepts and designing layouts and product definitions of complex mechanical or electrical equipment, parts, and assemblies to create product definitions while using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and/or Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.
