“Calling” design creatives:

What you’ll do

  • Think creatively and practice user-centered design thinking through all stages from concept ideation to implementation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with other designers.
  • Be a tireless advocate for the end user and best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Mentor and lead junior designers, taking ownership of team projects and design initiatives.
  • Utilize the Cisco Momentum Design System and our templates and component libraries for prototyping in Figma.
  • Present and demo design work often in order to validate concepts, secure leadership buy-in, and keep teammates and co-collaborators well-informed.
  • Work with UX research teams to conduct usability tests and user research (including creating prototypes).
  • Engage with users and customers to gather feedback and drive continual improvements.
  • Study analytics and use data to drive design decisions and support or dispel your assumptions.
  • Work with a global design team across continents and time zones.

Who You Are?

  • Designer with 3-5 years of professional experience with a UX-focused portfolio that demonstrates experience in both interaction design and visual execution
  • Bonus points if you can demonstrate experience with admin dashboards & tools
  • Formal training in User Experience, Product Design, Human Factors – or equivalent work experience
  • Keen understanding of usability principles and design thinking
  • Ability to navigate and make progress on projects with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Self-motivated and able to self-manage tasks, deadlines and schedule
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Proficient in Figma/Sketch

But “Digital Transformation” is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)
