ROLE AND ENGAGEMENT

  • Develop strategic product marketing plans and lead others in the successful implementation of: product releases, product roadmaps, strategic events, partner marketing programs, customer marketing programs, and communications that help SAP Signavio market through end-to-end channels.

  • Create the overall Product Marketing Strategic Plan – lead the development of go-to-market plans for new product launches, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and distribution strategies. This involves researching competitors, creating the messaging and working on the go-to-market plan. The strategic plan will be utilized by others in Product Management, Business Planning, Marketing Planning, Customer Success to determine goals for region, market unit, country, or route to market and translate to quarterly region and central operational plans.

  • Team Leadership - build and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • Stakeholder Management – proactively lead stakeholder management across an extensive network. Oversee others to align with business stakeholders and ultimately align to business goals. Lead by example and direct others to continually educate, evangelize & execute cross SAP activities, best practices, technology/systems/analytics, and innovation e.g. best practice frameworks for amplification of content. Professionally evaluate overall performance to direct others to refine programs for real business impact. This includes e.g. business and campaign performance across the whole marketing mix, program execution, and pipeline impact.

  • Ensure strong collaboration with external and internal stakeholders to create targeted reference plans and marketing programs aligned with Product Group and GTM priorities by LoB solution area, industries, regions, Customer Success, Customer Engagement and Experience, Executive Board, Communications and Partner Organization

  • Create alignment and the relationships necessary across other LOBs and regional marketing teams and 3rd parties to ensure SAP Signavio content and message is leveraged and is part of their marketing activities to optimize budget and presence.

  • Create advocates and actionable references to raise brand and product awareness to key audiences, support GTM and Global Programs to generate demand & accelerate pipeline; and help drive adoption through value realization to increase loyalty that contribute to higher renewals.

  • Engage and build customer relationships to recruit and deliver customer references across the entire SAP and SAP Signavio portfolio, key industries and geographies.

  • Lead teams to collaborate with product managers, global and regional marketing teams, branding, communications, data, marketing intelligence & operations, online, digital and social media, partners, sales references, sponsorships, and events to develop human, prescriptive, and compelling customer content for multiple channels and formats.

  • Support on creating customer stories and value realization content to align with company strategy & goals.

  • Support on identifying, understanding, and engaging with low and under usage customers to nurture, retain and drive increased adoption through marketing campaigns.

  • Serve as a leading authority to educate, evangelize & execute as a Marketing Center of Excellence through best practices, technology/systems/analytics, and innovation e.g. different ways to tell an impactful customer story and position SAP Signavio as a market and innovation leader.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years of product marketing experience.

  • Leadership in a product marketing function, preferably in a global organization.

  • Product Marketing strategy development and planning.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Project leadership (large-scale projects)

  • Minimum 5 years leading/developing employees.

  • Minimum 5 years coaching and managing at the managerial level.
