

Sales & Distribution Excellence
Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the region’s sales and distribution infrastructure, processes, and performance metrics.
Develop and execute regional sales plans and programs to meet or exceed revenue and market share goals.
Drive sell-out at retail through demand generation activities, visibility, merchandising, and in-store execution initiatives.
Ensure product range availability, right product placement, and width of distribution across channels.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory/Area Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and operational KPIs.
Build a performance-driven culture with strong focus on capability building and customer-centric execution.
Channel & Distributor Management
Appoint and manage distributors/super stockists ensuring right investment, infrastructure, and service levels.
Monitor ROI, claims, and ensure timely financial settlements and adherence to 3M policies.
Strengthen trade partnerships through consistent engagement and transparent communication.
Business & Market Insights
Analyze market trends, channel dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Provide regular inputs to marketing and category teams on pricing, promotions, and product performance.
Operational Governance & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely reporting on sales performance, forecasts, budgets, and trade spends.
Manage regional budgets effectively and ensure adherence to compliance, ethical, and operational standards.
Achieving sales revenue and profitability targets for the region.
Driving execution excellence in distribution, visibility, and trade programs.
Timely and accurate claim settlements and financial control.
Building strong customer relationships and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Adherence to 3M’s business ethics, compliance, and operational governance.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
10–15 years of relevant experience in sales, distribution, and channel management —preferably from FMCG, Consumer Durables, or allied industries.
Strong business acumen with proven success in leading regional teams and managing large-scale distributor networks.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Prior experience or familiarity with the assigned region is preferred.
