RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and define technology strategies aligned with SAP's product portfolio.
• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration aspects.
• Develop architectural governance, roadmaps, and implementation plans to guide the execution of technology initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to build architecture teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices, promoting reusability and adherence to SAP's architectural principles.
• Conduct technology assessments and facilitate decision-making processes to support solution adoption and investment prioritization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in enterprise architecture and SAP offerings, actively participating in professional development activities.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Very strong knowledge in one or more Functional Domains with a proven projects record in any of the following areas where you acted as enterprise architect:
  • Functional:
    • Finance & Risk
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Manufacturing
    • Lead to Cash
    • Procure to Pay
• SAP Products and Methods Knowledge:
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Product Portfolio (Cloud solutions, S/4HANA, BTP, AI, ..)
  • Industry Solutions (in related industry area) - Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures
• Certification / competence in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
  • S/4HANA Functional Modules as mentioned above.
  • Project Management (e.g., SAP Activate, SAFE)
  • TOGAF
  • EA Tooling
• Ability to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines
• Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner
• Willingness and ability to travel to customers
• Resilience in challenging customer situations to sustain Enterprise Architecture engagements and make them successful

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Minimal Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Current knowledge of IT trends and their impact on business strategies with specific focus on the latest SAP solutions
• Excellent (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills in English; Next to that we do have a strong preference for applicants with good Dutch language skills
• Leadership skills to create a vision and put this into action with a team

DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• We are looking for a balance of the following:
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience as an Enterprise Architect or Business Architect (or similar role)
  • Strong knowledge of S/4HANA
  • Project- or Program management
  • Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology and SAP Clean Core principles
  • Strong preference for working experience in Industry Public Sector, Public Transportation and/or Utilities

This role is based in the Netherlands because of customer proximity requirements and we can only consider candidates which will not require a relocation.
