Responsibilities:

· Installing and configuring SQL Server software and related tools. • Designing, developing, and maintaining databases and database schemas. • Ensuring database security, integrity, and performance. • Monitoring and op ti mizing database performance, including tuning queries and indexing. • Crea t ing and managing backups and disaster recovery plans. • Troubleshoo t ing database issues and providing technical support to end-users. • Developing and implemen t ing database policies, procedures, and standards. • Managing database users, permissions, and roles. • Developing and maintaining SQL scripts and stored procedures. • Collabora t ing with development teams to design and implement database changes. • Performing regular database maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and migra t ions. • Documen ti ng database architecture, design, and procedures. • Plan and coordinate data migra t ion between systems. • Building and maintaining ETL solu t ions (SSIS).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. · Familiarity with data modeling, database design principles, and data warehousing concepts. · Experience in database backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solu t ions. · Strong analy t ical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues. · Excellent communica t ion and collabora t ion skills to work effec t ively with cross-func t ional teams. · Knowledge of cloud-based database solu t ions, such as Azure SQL Database or Amazon RDS, may be required. · Familiarity with DevOps principles and process would be an added advantage. · Willingness to learn new database technologies and trends. · Experience with ETL / Data Warehouse building. · Ability to learn independently and eagerness to adapt to emerging technologies. · Significant experience in object-oriented analysis and design for databases. · Familiarity with other database servers such as MongoDB or Elastic - a big advantage.

Work Experience Required:

At least 2 years of experience as Database Developer (SQL Server) • Experience in .Net using C# - Advantage • Extensive database object-oriented analysis and design experience. • Other database servers experience (mongo dB, Elastic etc’ )- Advantage • BSC in computer science or equivalent
