Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in audio acoustics, including building test setups and managing labs and associated equipment.
Experience with audio test equipment.
Preferred qualifications:
PhD in Audio Acoustics, Speech Signal Processing, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in automating measurements using audio test equipment including Audio Precision, HeadAcoustics, Prism dScope, Rohde and Schwarz, as well as signal generators, SPL meters, and measurement transducers from Brüel & Kjær and GRAS.
Knowledge of data strategies for developing various AI/ML models.
Understanding of common audio issues in the recording industry and their root causes.
Proficiency with software tools such as SoundCheck, CLIO, LabVIEW, Daqarta, and others.
