Job Title: Project Co-ordinator/Project Management
Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions using Power BI to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using Power Automate to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for all projects, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleanup.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a data analyst or equivalent project management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, report and dashboard creation.
- Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and experience managing small to medium-sized projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
