Job title Powder Coat Machine Operator

Role type: Permanent role: Mon to Wed 6.30am – 4.30pm and Thursday 6.30am to 3.30pm. This may change to a 5 day shift covering the same hours in the future.

As a Powder Coat Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the control of the equipment which powder coats to various products. Manual powder coating is required circa 10% of the time. Your expertise in powder coating techniques and equipment operation will ensure the delivery of high-quality finished products. You will work closely with the production team to meet customer requirements and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. In this role, you will impact the quality and appearance of our products, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of Honeywell.

Utilising equipment to apply powder coatings to products

Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning and pre-treating as necessary

Monitor and adjust coating parameters to achieve desired results

Inspect finished products for quality Standards

Maintain and clean spray equipment to ensure optimal performance

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work to relevant processes and procedures.

Completion of First Offs and Quality Assurance Paperwork

Ensure efficient running of the Paint Plant

Identify improvements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience operating equipment that powder coats (or similar role) with knowledge of powder coating techniques

Must be proactive towards improvement ideas/programs

Work overtime as and when required
