You will support businesses in meeting the complex requirements of tax reporting, compliance, planning, strategy, and dispute resolution. By combining deep technical and industry expertise with proven methodologies, you will work with a variety of businesses and corporations to help them create and implement effective, practical, and sustainable tax strategies.You will offer personalized advice to clients and build valuable relationships with them and your team. You will lead projects, work in the business tax field, and identify new business opportunities.

Your key responsibilities

You will oversee and successfully deliver complex consulting projects, ensuring top-notch technical quality and excellent client service. You will build and maintain valuable relationships both within the company and with clients, ensuring the highest quality of service.You will manage client engagements daily, monitor progress and deliverables, implement standardized processes, identify and address risks, and drive performance improvements. You will also help generate new business opportunities and expand our client network in the region.You will lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a positive learning environment and mentoring junior team members. You will manage project economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with our Tax Quality guidelines.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you need:- A bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, business, finance, law, taxation, or related fields with strong academic credentials.
- An MBA, LLM, or other advanced degrees and/or professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent are preferred.
- Over 5 years of strong knowledge and experience in Corporate Tax, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment.
- A proven track record in managerial, organizational, and project management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Azerbaijani.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong professional writing and analytical skills.
- Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- The ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work in different teams.
- A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.Ideally, you also have:- Experience dealing with multinational clients and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- In-depth commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.
