As an Operations Change Lead within the Fund Services Operations, you will be responsible for identifying and managing change initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Fund Accounting Processes.

This role requires a Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA / Post-graduate with prior knowledge of fund services operations. The Change Lead will review existing processes, identify gaps, come up with solutions (strategic or tactical), implement it by collaborating with Technology, Product, Product development and Operations Teams and deliver operational efficiencies or create capacities.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage change initiatives aimed at improving security services operations.
  • Review and analyze current processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic or tactical solutions to address identified gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of changes.
  • Communicate change initiatives and their impact to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Provide training and support to staff affected by changes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.
  • Ensure changes align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of change initiatives and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including senior relationships and lead stakeholder discussions and forums with clear outcomes and actions
  • Provide executive reporting and communication to senior management
  • Lead the training programs for Fund Accounting ops members.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Qualification - CA/ MBA
  • 12+ years’ experience in financial services or a related industry sector such as professional services, or technology providers
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead others through change
  • Understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and oral executive-level communications skills with ability to deal with a diverse stakeholder base
  • Ability to work at pace with accuracy, effective at working under pressure and tight deadlines
