The role may provide a wide range of deal-making experiences related to secured commercial real estate finance - including balance sheet loans, syndicated loans, senior/mezzanine structures, warehouse financing, loan on loan facilities, securitization, and take-private / special situations.

What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

  • Evaluate commercial real estate properties, portfolios and businesses as well as market activity and futures drivers of performance. This may cover a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes from leased properties (such as warehouses or offices) to operating properties (such as hotels)

  • Analysis and modelling of commercial real estate, financings and securitizations

  • Structuring loans and securitization including determining terms & conditions and reviewing and negotiating documentation with clients

  • Preparation of detailed credit memos and presentations of financing and securitization transactions for credit committee and other purposes

  • Assist in discussions with clients and advisers

  • Work with internal partners including onboarding, risk, legal, sales and banking

  • Involvement in monitoring financings and other ad hoc workstreams

What we will need from you:

  • Experience in European structured credit / real estate finance transactions

  • Strong computing, numeracy and analytical skills required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills

  • Self-motivated and a strong work ethic

  • Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines

  • Ability to manage stressful situations and heated discussions in a calm, professional, diplomatic and focused manner

  • University degree or similar
