Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create and socialize the Product Strategy with the internal team and stakeholders. Articulate it’s applicability in any product decisions made at the leadership level as well as product team level.
- Drive strategic consensus with business and IT by running a cadence of cross functional leadership meetings.
- Articulate clear goals and milestones aligned to the product strategy so dependency mapping is prioritized ahead of time for the following quarter’s goals.
- Prioritize product requirements and own the product backlog.
- Maintain application roadmaps and ensure they align business needs and IT capabilities.
- Set and manage Objectives and Key Results aligned with business.
- Establish guiding principles to empower team members to align with the quarterly OKRs as well as long term vision of the product.
- Establish clear metrics by which the performance of the product will be assessed.
- Maintain a close cadence with all product managers in your team and provide sustained context as well as providing them assistance to remove any roadblocks in their path.
- Manage elements of the product life cycle to meet user needs and financial and other targets.
- Analyze market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data.
- Drive product discovery to understand user needs and translate to solutions.
- Develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships with business, IT, and any partners.
- Work cross-functionally with IT and business colleagues to maximize value.
- Work with architects and technical leads to drive to development and operational best practices.
- Work with the business on value objectives, process analysis, scope definition, requirements and documentation, testing, and realization.
- Act as the interface between internal business teams and external vendors.
- Manage application providers and vendors, coordinate external and internal activities.
- Plan and drive systems development projects which support the organizational objectives.
- Select, adopt, and adapt appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools, and techniques (e.g. Agile, iterative, Jira backlog).
- Take accountability for IT costs for the product and optimize spending within given limits.
- Create and sustain a clear communication plan to provide sufficient visibility to the work the team is doing and what value the digital product is unlocking for the business customer and broader organization.
Required Education:
- Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant experience with implementation of Responsible Artificial Intelligence solutions at the enterprise level.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the digital Product Management function.
- At least 3 years of hands-on people management work experience coaching, mentoring or developing other Product Managers.
