Job responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical solutions with focus on SAP S/4 HANA
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
• Develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
• Implement and deploy SAP UI5 applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups.
• Implement Automated Unit testing framework to drive best practices using ABAP Units / ABAP Double / Q-Units / Sinon.js.
• Develop RESTful and SOAP based API interfaces for various SAP components for external consumptions or helping setup cloud deployments
• Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years in-depth development experience in ABAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Reports and Workflow) objects
• Strong Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming using ABAP Objects and design patterns
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Experience in data modelling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core data Services, Data Base Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption.
• Experience in developing and deploying custom SAP UI5 applications using SAP Cloud Platform, Web IDE and developing applications with consumption of ODATA services
• Experience of RESTful API using OData Services, HANA CDS views, Git Repository Integration, SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, SAP Fiori Apps and Theme Design
• Experience in Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and Post Production support projects would be an advantage.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience on S4 HANA implementations is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Solution Manager Components like BPCA / Charm / Focus is desirable.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
