Key job responsibilities
• Design data collection tools to establish the ideal statistical methods to gather, review, and interpret research data to derive useful information for the business
• Define and utilize statistical methods to solve OTS business and industry specific problems
• Research problems and identify the data required to answer specific questions, identifying trends and inter-relations in data
• Plans and documents computer data file structure; develops, programs, manages, and maintains complex statistical databases; performs or supervises data entry
• Compare provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships and problems
• Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data, communicating findings to OTS business partners and stakeholders
• Train the technical team how to properly organize findings and read data collected
• Create surveys, questionnaires and polls to collect necessary information, and apply sampling techniques to effectively identify and define ideal categories to be questioned
• Help influence business strategy for DataTech and for OTS stakeholders/customers and partners

- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software

- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
