You will use your business and technical acumen to learn the metrics that are important to understanding the translation business, dive deep into our data, and recommend how to read and tell the story embedded within. You will own ad-hoc investigations into data to uncover root causes of issues and surface improvement opportunities. You will listen to your business and engineering customers to understand their data and analytics needs and recommend, design, and build the ideal solutions—including existing and new data-collection, dashboards, data models, and data pipelines. You will add these data assets to our existing data products and assist in enhancing and maintaining existing metrics, analysis, visualizations, dashboards, reports, models, and pipelines.

A day in the life

- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
