You will be part of a team of engineers and technicians working on a variety of different projects. As part of the design team you shall assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, preliminary and detailed design for highways and active travel projects throughout the UK and Ireland. You may be required to attend progress meetings and public exhibitions.
- Degree in Civil Engineering and you should be nearing Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
- Understanding of TII Publications, UK DMRB
- Experience in the design of Major Highway, Local Road or Active Travel schemes.
- Confident with proven interpersonal and communication skills and capable of managing a challenging workload subject to change at short notice.
- Experience of 3D Civils would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of project management, contractual issues and Experience of construction supervision.
- Understanding of H&S legislation
- Awareness of different contract types and procurement options.
