As the BTP-CSM Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Proactively engaging with customers to sustainably increase their consumption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and coordinating activities with the Account Team
- Analyzing the big picture, demonstrating expertise in digital transformation, and coaching on technical and business architectures
- Serving as the primary SAP BTP point of contact and orchestrating success resources across SAP and customers as defined in the SAP BTP engagement model
- Analyzing your customer's technical needs and defining consumption plans for your assigned customers
- Providing recommendations and preparing the customer to make the best use of the solution, in alignment with SAP's strategy and roadmap
- Acting as a voice of the customer to internal SAP stakeholders
- Collaborating with colleagues from various groups, including Cloud Success Services life-cycle relevant centers of experts, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management groups, Support, Services, and Partners
- The BTP-CSM Advisor may also be assigned to fulfill a customer's premium subscription services
What you bring
- 3-4 years of experience in areas such as Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, or Consulting
- Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms (PaaS) and providers
- Deep understanding of one or more areas of the SAP BTP portfolio: SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, Analytics Cloud Solutions
- Multi-lingual skills are a plus, depending on the region
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Professional Training & Certification
- Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus
- Familiarity with design thinking methodology is a plus
