Core Tasks include:

  • Evaluation of innovative industry- and technology- trends and development of corresponding industry process- and solution-maps. Support for internal strategic portfolio planning.
  • Enforcement of industry-specific service-offerings. Detailed design of industry-specific / corporate customer processes.
  • Identification of enterprise services. Proposal of software-decisions (SAP-/Non-SAP-products) within the customer Process-, Application- and IT-landscape based on BPP.
  • Mapping of business process to enterprise IT-architecture.
  • Define requirements for individual development or integration needs.
  • Performance of reviews (process oriented and relation to IT-mapping).
  • Define corresponding organizational structure.
  • Map and validate performance indicators (designed by Transf. Manager).
  • Implementation of designed processes.

  • ensures business critical & innovative results
  • ensures that goals and milestones are met and approved budgets are managed appropriately

Experience

  • sound professional experience
  • deep knowledge of project management skills
  • depending on LoB has a PMI, Six Sigma or equivalent certification
  • if in Six Sigma has black belt

  • represents SAP to customers' - is responsible for delivery of quality outcomes of projects of high volume or high risk
  • represents SAP to customers
  • finds common ground for cooperation within project team
  • formulates clear project plans incl. mile stones, timeline and sub projects
  • communicates messages relevant for project in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to project team
  • captures opinions and expectations of stakeholder and communicates them to the project team

Key Responsibilities and Task

  • Drives business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions > Maps business processes to solution requirements
  • Champions and leads disruptive business innovation
  • Provides thought leadership around the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise
  • Drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives Supports end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards
  • Plans transitions of customer solution landscapes
  • Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs
  • Supports pre-sales activities
  • Performs solution reviews and feasibility studies
  • Supports in escalated projects
  • Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery
  • Supports line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Delivers customer workshops and trainings
  • Supports in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success Introduces SAP and industry leading practices for complex business requirements based on experience
  • Drives the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or initiates updates to the portfolio
  • Drives the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes
  • Mentors business process consultants

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Functional Experience
  • Several years of experience in business process consulting
  • Has a minimum of seven years' experience in service delivery
  • Deep understanding of industry and/or LoB specific business processes
  • Holistic understanding of the relevant end-to-end processes of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Suite
  • Has performed feasibility studies / PoCs etc.
  • Has managed difficult client situations
  • Good understanding of public cloud software Managerial Experience
  • As a sub project lead and/or team lead in a service engagement
  • As a coach for colleagues
  • As a community lead, stream lead or topic owner within an internal community Other Experience
  • Demonstrates effective emotional intelligence English: Fluent
  • Other languages: Fluent with the local country language Education
  • University degree or equivalent work experience Professional Training & Certification
  • Solution Certification
