As an IT Procurement Manager within Procurement and Third-Party Management function, you will become a member of a high-performing EMEA Technology Procurement team that identifies and leads procurement and contracting initiatives focused on the IT expense categories.
Responsibilities:
Establish strong relationships with internal business / IT functional stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned projects, suppliers and/or spend categories
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end procurement process
Develop and manage RFP processes to support business, category and project strategies
Perform financial analysis including demand scenario modelling, P&L impact analysis and benchmark comparisons to support supplier selection and negotiation processes
Develop, lead and/or manage a portfolio of initiatives across the end-to-end procurement and contracting process
Lead the development and execution of negotiation strategies for assigned projects
Lead contract negotiations, partnering with Legal and business function, to optimize overall value including financial outcomes, service levels and risk mitigation
Manage supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost
Requirements:
Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University
5 years of previous Procurement, Contracting, Buying Desk and/or Business-related experience; preferably in the procurement of IT products and services
Knowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g. eRFx, eAuction, P2P)
Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization
Financial Services industry experience is a plus
Proven track record of leading procurement and contracting initiatives
Experience in creating purchase orders, liaising with catalogue updates in P2P, being familiar with the maker-checker concept is a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong financial modelling and deal structuring skills
Takes initiative and can effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives
