Job Summary:

As a Vice President in the Securities Services – Product Development Custody Positions and Settlements, you will be responsible for leading the development of core product enhancements and targeted tactical solutions to meet the extensive needs of our clients and prospects for the Global Custody and Clearing business. Our aim is to position us as 'best in class’ with clients and prospects. You will also maintain and expand subject matter expertise, providing thought leadership in the Global Custody product space. The Product Development Team is organized along functional lines broken down into 4 key product "towers" and is distributed globally (Asset Servicing, Positions & Settlements, Cash, Direct Custody).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our Product partners in Securities Services and senior members of Product Development to design and deliver key elements of the strategic P&S platform and interact with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver a strategic P&S product offering.
  • Partner with Operations to identify and remediate existing manual workflows
  • Work with the technology team in the development of the strategic P&S infrastructure
  • Coordinate the user testing and rollout of new P&S products, managing feedback and implementing additional enhancements based on priorities
  • Manage effective working group meetings across Product, Operations and Technology to deliver on key services and tools
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing/Client Service to develop, brand and communicate new products to our external clients
  • Participate in and contribute to the broader Securities Services Custody Product Development teamwide forums and Identify opportunities for improvement, presenting them to senior management and helping to affect change

  • Steer and measure business results through strategy development, business planning, general knowledge and skills
  • Steer results through people, communication, influence management and interactions
  • Ensure market-drive direction by performing market research and competitive intelligence
  • Guide product enhancements through requirement development, product testing and release management; deliver on-time and under-budget
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work concurrently
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and convert into a reportable format

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Initiative: be able to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational model
  • Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions. Strong analytical skills with complementary communications and presentation skills
  • A contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignments
