F5 is looking for a Sr Engineer, SoftwareYou willin the design, orchestration, automation of the cloudof our bot and risk management platformthat protects apps and APIs from bots and malicious automation.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with team of experts to implementfeatures, fix bugs,write unit tests,bring in ideas and solutions to adopt and implement new K8s andcloud provider featuresour orchestration platform.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop andmaintainresponsive applications usingPython andGolang.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported bycustomers, SRE teamoridentifiedinQA cycleand implement effective solutionsin a timely manner.
Implement and update Helm charts to add/modify k8s manifests to deploysolutioninvarious cloud environments
Implement and supportgitpipelinesto do continuousintegration/continuousdeployment (CI/CD) to ensure code qualitywith unit testsand deployment reliability.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
Regularly improveunit test cases ensuring grater code coverage andassistQA members inintegration andperformancetest cycles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end feature development, taking ownership and accountability.
Stayup-to-dateon relevant technologies, understand trends and opportunities to selectappropriate tools & techniques.
Write complete documentation on product features, deployment and debugging instructions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
inPythonand Golang
Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Redis Cache
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Gitlab Pipelines and ArgoCD
Familiar withApplication controllers and Load Balancers like AWS NLB, Nginx, GCP LB
Experience with Nginx configuration
Experience with container and orchestration technologies and runtimes -Containerd, k8s, EKS, GKE
Knowledge of TCP/IP Stack, SSL,VPC Networks, Firewalls,NATand DNS.
Strongcommunicationandtrouble-shooting skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science/related fields or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of7years of relevant work experience inPython, K8s, AWS and GCP
