Intern - Procurement, Grooming & Beauty

In this role, you have the opportunity to

• Gain hands-on experience for supplier management and sourcing activities.
• Learn the Lean concepts and participate in the Lean transition for G&B procurement team.
• Build up sustainability knowledge and experience.
• Work with a nice team!

You are responsible for

• Support lean transition for procurement team, e.g. create and maintain daily management & priority dashboard.
• Participate in supplier scouting activities (including NDA arrangements, data collection & analytics).
• Facilitate local procurement sustainability initiatives.
• Support supplier contracting and communications.
• Coordinate procurement workshops/events.

• The Philips Grooming & Beauty, Philips Innovation Centre (PIC) delivers innovative consumer products for personal well-being. You will be part of the energetic G&B PIC Procurement team and report to the G&B procurement business partner China.

Our Offer:

• Location: Shenzhen Philips Innovation Center, Nanshan District, Shenzhen City
• Starting date: June 15~, 4 or 5 days per week
• Duration: min. 6 months, ideally 1 year

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Under-graduate or post-graduate University student preferably with commercial, science or engineering background.
• Procurement experience is a plus.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Willing to learn.
• Good communication skill.
• Good MS Office skills such as Excel, PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and mandarin.
