The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in our organization's growth by leading a team of engineers specializing in E-bike systems. With a focus on both software, firmware and mechanical components, this role requires a visionary leader who can develop and implement strategic plans, oversee project execution, and ensure the seamless integration of technology into our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
 - Drive the design, development, and deployment of E-bike systems.
 - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure the integration of software, firmware and mechanical components, including motors and gearboxes.
 - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable engineering projects.
 - Develop and implement strategies to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
 - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
 - Identify and mitigate risks associated with system design and implementation.
 - Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices into engineering processes.
 - Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.
 - Contribute to the company's overall growth strategy and innovation initiatives.
 
Qualifications:
- Engineering Master’s degree, or PhD in Electronics, or Mechatronics, or related fields.
 - Proven experience in a leadership role within E-bike or a related industry.
 - With BLDC know-how, Battery know-how (optional), control algorithm know-how, understanding of mechanical and electrical hardware.
 - Strong expertise in software, firmware and mechanical systems, with experience in motors and gearboxes.
 - Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
 - Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
 - Proficient in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
 - Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
 - Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
 - Knowledge of industry standards and trends in E-bike.
 - Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
