Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Area Management: Oversee operations to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime
- Team Development: Align team objectives with site goals and provide performance feedback
- Training: Train new staff and maintain up-to-date training documentation
- Performance Management: Implement the performance management process and handle employee relations issues
- Quality Assurance: Ensure GMP compliance in testing of water samples, intermediates, and finished products
- Environmental Monitoring: Lead departmental meetings and address adverse trends through CAPA's
- QMS Compliance: Ensure adherence to CAPA's, change controls, and deviations
- Technical Support: Enhance test methods and ensure robustness in procedures
- Documentation: Develop and maintain specifications and SOP's per GMP guidelines
- Batch Release: Manage timely release of batches in line with commitments
- Safety Lead ership:Promote safety and maintain proper documentation in the lab
- Audit Support: Assist in inspections and implement corrective actions for any findings
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for productivity enhancement and cost savings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Quality Control, or related discipline)
- Significant experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of GMP, pharmacopoeial standards, and quality management systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance and facilitate training
- Proficiency in SAP or similar laboratory information management systems
