Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.
Experience in telecommunications service providers acquiring, or selling connectivity related solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience negotiating wholesale carrier agreements (e.g., interconnection, RIO, wholesale), and deep understanding of internet concepts like routing (IGP/BGP), traffic management, and capacity planning.
Strong knowledge of the Sub-Sahara Africa market, including key stakeholders, emerging issues, and current trends.
Ability to creatively solve ambiguous, multi-stakeholder challenges and translate complex problems into clear financial models, presentations, and marketing materials.
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, enabling effective coordination with technical and cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success negotiating complex agreements with diverse partners, including Telecoms, Access Providers, ISPs, Internet Exchanges, and Colocation providers.
