This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
• Analyse market trends, sales performance, and competitive landscape to generate actionable insights for commercial strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate key findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to provide data-driven recommendations that support business objectives.
• Assist in creation of patient modelling and product forecasting.
• Work cross functionally with the Hospital + Pharmacy team and Finance around rebates and claims focusing on ROI analysis.
• Preparing analytical support for proposals to the Pricing Committee.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives, providing recommendations for optimization.
• Support the development of market access strategies, pricing models, and sales targets.
• Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to ensure timely and relevant insights.
• Manage data sources and tools, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial analysis, business intelligence, or a related role within the pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and commercial strategies in Australia preferably in innovative products
• Good understanding of Salesforce Effectiveness, segmentation and targeting
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. QlikSense, Veena preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and actionable manner
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with financial modelling and forecasting
