The mission of aSr.Technical Specialist – Low Code

As a, you will be the technical sales leader in our Specialist Team Unit. Your key objective is to win the technical decision to onboard our strategic and key customers to adopt Power Platform and assist in their expansion. If you are a strategic thinker, proactive problem solver, sales & technical roadblock resolver displaying a growth mindset with deep functional and technical knowledge in low code platform, this role will be well fit for you.


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Customer-centric mindset with demonstrated passion for delivering customer value

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting, or related experience
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills across various customer stakeholders; experienced storyteller.
  • Ability to bring innovative technical solution ideas to customer problems
  • Experienced problem solver able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Growth mindset, insatiably curious, always learning and welcoming of challenges for the opportunity to grow
  • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Power Platform, Low-code Platform, AI & Copilots, Github, DevOps, Azure services, Architecture Design).
Responsibilities

Scale Customer Engagements

  • Drive Key Customer Acquisition for Power Platform Solutions.
  • Enable Customer Success by navigating technical roadblocks and their respective deployment
  • Leverage Business Process Modernization scenarios & Sales Plays to proactively plan & sell, working closely with various stakeholders
  • Engage with both BDMs and ITDMs to identify and solve for business process and data gaps with a Power Platform Solution
  • Obsess over Microsoft’s customers and prospects to deliver a world-class customer engagement experience
  • Leverage pre-sales kits and demonstration environments to effectively reach, sell to and manage key customers
  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and limited proof of concept to explain to our customers the capabilities of Power Platform and how leveraging data makes their business more successful
  • Prepare technical insights to drive the right technical and business solution outcomes

Scale Through Partners

  • Engages in partner sell-with scenarios by acting as liaison between the partner and team and facilitating partner resources and processes throughout the course of the project.
  • Supports partner technical capacity by identifying skill and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams.

Build Strategy

  • Captures core competitive knowledge and delivers back to product and engineering teams to enhance team capabilities and develop compete strategies for assigned customers.
  • Provides strategic, technical, and partner input based on Microsoft capability at the account level to contribute to strategy development, leveraging partner, competitor, or open-source knowledge.
  • Works with account teams to shape strategic win plan and tailor Microsoft messaging to audience using knowledge of customer feedback, specific Microsoft solutions, and their context in a competitive landscape.
  • Be abile to purposefully Plan & Influence Stakeholders & Decision-Makers
  • Join sales planning to meet revenue & consumption targets and relationship building with customers.

Solution Design and Proof

  • Demonstrates and oversees demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions, and proof of concept [POC] sessions) of products, services, and integration through initial engagements. Leverages partner/customer teams as needed to prove capabilities and integration into customer environment.
  • Be able to articulate Power Platform and be our Subject Matter Expert
  • Drive group and one-to-one demonstrations as well as communicating value propositions, executing defined sales motions, & leveraging sales plays scenarios to meet customer needs
  • Presents and applies architecture patterns to partners or customers and drives cross-workload support for Microsoft Solutions.
  • Applies sales methodologies (e.g., challenger sales) and coaches team in addressing customer digital transformation and leveraging insights to align new or changing technology to customer business needs.

Education

  • Builds your own readiness plan and proactively identifies learning gaps. Grows domain knowledge and practices expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues to expand knowledge of architecture.
  • Demonstrates new and updated products to increase internal virtual teams' understanding of solutions and new opportunities.
  • Monitors and responds to internal tech community posts, attends community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc., and acts as a mentor for their technology area.
