GDS Assurance Managed Services leader responsibilities include:

  • Building the GDS Assurance Managed Services brand globally and leading a growing team of 300+ professionals delivering on capabilities like Finance, Sustainability and Forensics.
  • Develop strategies to transform delivery across Finance, Sustainability and Forensics solutions.
  • Play a catalyst role in moving service delivery from country practices to GDS.
  • Build game-changing capabilities for clients & help them unlock true value through integrated solutions that build long-term sustainable growth by optimizing their non-core but board critical processes.
  • Collaborate across Assurance, Tax and Consulting service lines and participate on cross service line deals and initiatives to enhance the EY value proposition.
  • Work with priority accounts to drive strategic growth through alliances
  • Create an atmosphere of trust, seek diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.
  • Build Business solution-based assets for Managed Services in collaboration with the regional leadership.
  • Brings deep understanding and ability to leverage internal and external best practices and innovation to create value through technology enabled efficiency, consistency & harmonization.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on large pursuits, structuring the solution and delivery operate model to enhance the delivery to clients.
  • Work with client facing teams and management to prepare estimates, Point of Views, Position Papers and contribute towards pursuits and proposals.
  • Recruitment, Learning and development, deployment and performance management of the Assurance Managed Services team.
  • Travel to EY and Client locations to build client and stakeholder relationship.

Technical responsibilities include:

  • SMR role in large Global pursuits
  • Experience in leading teams across Finance & Accounting, Forensics and Sustainability in MS/Shared Services set up.
  • Experienced in leveraging technology – ERPs (e.g., SAP), cloud, digital & platforms to drive efficiency & business outcomes.
  • Hands on experience of business development, go-to-market and sales strategies.
  • Experienced in building capabilities/centers of excellence and leading large, high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills, with a proven track record of influencing and motivating others at a C-suite level to achieve results & exceed targets and the ability to build trust within his/her team and with global clients.
  • Broad sector experience and client trends related to outsourcing.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance, legal
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA/B.E./BTech with core experience in Managed Services or a related field with minimum 20 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 20+ years’ experience leading & motivating complex multi-geography managed services delivery teams in agile, matrix & unstructured environments across broad variety of different sectors
  • Experience of solutioning and managing large teams in management consulting or process outsourcing organizations.
  • Demonstrable experience in P&L Management, Delivery & Operations and Transformation
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations.
