Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Performance Management:

    • Primary interface for all technology vendor relations

    • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    • Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.

    • Identifying and managing performance decline or emerging risk issues

    • Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to discuss performance, address concerns, and foster strong relationships.

    • Partner with Sourcing team to ensure holistic oversight for all Technology vendor activities

  • Cost Optimization:

    • Identify and pursue cost optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.

  • Business Activity Owner (BAO) Activity:

    • Manage / coordinate all BAO activities across technology

    • Own all aspects of the third-party relationship and is responsible for identifying, managing, and monitoring all third-party risks throughout the relationship and staying in compliance with TPM requirements.

    • Must understand the risks and ensure appropriate mitigating controls are established

  • Strategic Alignment:

    • Ensure that vendor solutions align with the organization's technology strategy and business objectives.

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Governance and Communication:

    • Establish and maintain a governance framework for technology vendor management.

    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of proven experience in technology vendor management or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles (ITIL framework preferred).

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISM, CISSP).

  • Experience with vendor management software and tools.
